We worked on this with the wonderful engineer, BL Manjunath, Ramesh Babu of SV Construction and Sasi Kumar (Star Engineering), the steel fabricator. Santosh TV was the Landscape architect and Tanushri Dalmiya did the interiors. 

The jury for the awards were Aparna Narasimhan, Nitin Killawala and Prem Nath. Here are the Jury comments (courtesy Aparna):

1. Statement of the design problem: Leased site - hence very tightly built, tentative structure that can be easily dismantled.

2. Site context: Proper identification of the earlier industrial area and hence, there is a subtle reference to it in the materials used. 

Mainly the gable wall at the entrance sets the tone of the design approach.

3. The design solution: The site is addressed in a very sensible way. The open longitudinal axis directs you to the garden behind without revealing too much of it in the beginning. The service areas are accessible but tucked away in the existing building but screened by the new brick wall.

4. Detailing in metal is done very tastefully keeping neat meeting of junctions. Although the design program is limited in its scope, the final product is beautiful nevertheless!

Shri Venkateshwara University organized the National Pharmacy Week to discuss latest R & D in Pharmacy.  

Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute’s School of Pharmacy inaugurated a 5 days National Pharmacy Week at its premises.

National Pharmacy Week is a 5-day event where reputed Pharma professionals and educationists will share valuable insights with our students.

They will discuss the latest R&D happening in the Pharmacy world.  

On the 1st day, Dr Mata Prasad Chief Guest & CQM Jubilant Chemicals Ltd along with the Dean Dr Mahendra Rana briefed students about the latest R & D happening in the Pharmacy world.

Senior Officials from reputed companies like Ranbaxy, DRL, Cipla etc., along with over a dozen Pharmacy educationists will take part in the 5 day function.

In addition, we will raise awareness about health by organizing a poster making competition, model making activities, and street plays to emphasize the significance of good health and effective treatment.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, Keynote Speaker Dr. Mata Prasad & Dr Mahendra Rana of Kumaun University inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

The VC, Dr Krishna Kant Dave, & the Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey joined them to unveil the 5 day long Pharmacy function.

Dr. Mahendra Rana, a renowned scientist and dean of the School of Biomedical Sciences at Kumaun University Nainital, has announced that Indian pharmaceutical scientists have made significant advancements in research and development.

They have successfully developed cures for Parkinson’s disease, cancer, and many other ailments.

These innovations have brought about revolutionary changes in the global medical field.

AVMEMS Jawanga’s Students Shine at Western India Science Fair District Level Competition

Geedam, Dantewada, Chhattisgarh, 30 September 2024: Students Nitesh Madvi and Aayush Jain from Aastha Vidya Mandir English Medium School, Education City Jawanga, secured first and third places respectively in the Western India Science Fair District Level Competition. The winners were awarded gold and bronze medals along with certificates. These district-level winners will now showcase their talents at the zone-level science exhibition.

The Dantewada District Administration and School Education Department, Government of Chhattisgarh, organized the District Level Children’s Science Exhibition and Western India Science Fair at Swami Atmanand Government Excellent Hindi Medium School, Dantewada, on 26 September 2024. The main theme of the exhibition was “Science & Technology for Sustainable Future,” with sub-topics including food health & hygiene, communication & transportation, natural farming, disaster management, waste management, and resource management.

▪️𝗩𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗸 𝗞𝘂𝗻𝗷𝗮𝗺 (Class 9): Presented a science seminar lecture on “Possibilities and Use of Artificial Intelligence in Social Welfare.”

Lecturer and project coordinator Amujuri Biswanath mentioned that these students were selected at the block level and showcased their talent at the district level. They will now display their innovative skills at the Zone Level Western India Science Fair and Competition.

The winners were honored by guest public representatives, District Education Officer SK Ambasta, District Mission Coordinator Harish Gautam, APC and Program Coordinator Neha Nath, who presented them with certificates and medals. Lecturers Amujuri Biswanath and Thanuram Sahu guided the students throughout the competition.

The Live In Triumph (LIT) 2024 Mr/Miss/Mrs Bharat Fashion Pageant was a memorable event, blending the allure of fashion with a powerful message on mental health. Themed ‘Unmasking Depression,’ the pageant was held on August 15, 2024, from 4 PM at Hotel Crowne Plaza, Gurgaon.

On viewing the clearer clip of the viral video, it can be seen that J.P. Nadda is actually consuming Yogi Kanthika which are Ayurvedic pills for Throat Relief. On inspection of the video by CNN-News18, we found the viral clip at 4:33:51 which shows the Health Minister consuming something from the can.

My name is Ajeet Kumar. I am a vegetarian, non-alcoholic and non tobacco user. In 2013, I felt mild pain in upper abdomen. My father is a doctor and he gave me painkillers and got an ultrasound done. I was hospitalised in Pushpanjali Hospital, Agra under Dr. Sameer Taneja (M.D, D.M Gastroenterologist) after treatment he also gave same answer "NO CURE". I lost 14 kg. weight and got more than 10attacks in 2 years. I was very scared and frightened. When I had a mild attack again, I started searching treatment for CP on internet but I could not find even a single hope, always got discouragement. Fortunately, one day, I read about ayurvedic treatment at Padaav. With my hopelessness, I had no belief on Ayurveda but was also excited to know more about it from my friend Nitin who was also suffering from CP and he also told me about padaav. We organized the blood donation camps at three locations wherein the locals, along with the students & teachers, donated 288 units of blood.

Shri Venkateshwara University marked World Pharmacists Day with a seminar, an organ donation awareness rally, and a blood donation camp. 

Shri Venkateshwara University and VGI Meerut celebrated World Pharmacists Day by hosting a seminar on Pharmacists Meeting Global Health Needs.

In addition, they organized an organ donation awareness rally and a blood donation camp.

We organized an organ donation awareness rally to inform the masses about organ donation.

Besides this, we held a blood donation camp at VGI Campus. Students and faculty members willingly donated blood, resulting in a collection of 124 units.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, VC Dr Krishan Kant Dave & the District Hospital Chief Pharmacist Dr Pradeep Kumar inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

Dr Nitin Singh, the Pharmacy Deans Dr Om Prakash Gosai & Dr Ashwini Saxena joined them to unveil the Pharmacists Meeting Global Health Needs seminar, organ donation rally & a blood donation camp.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated, Pharmacists play a crucial role in fulfilling the changing global health & medical requirements of the world.

He said organ or body donation is the biggest donation because you not only give a new lease of life to the needy but by doing so one becomes immortal in life.

He praised all those who have donated their organ/body & appealed that all should come forward for organ/body donation.

The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi emphasized that rather than turning a dead body to ashes, we should do the noble cause of donating our organs to bring smiles on the faces of the needy & sick.

The VC Dr Krishna Kant Dave asserted the Pharmacists play a vital role in fulfilling global health needs.

The CEO Mr. Ajay Shrivastava, VC Dr Krishna Kant Dave, Dean Dr Om Prakash Gosai & the Meerut Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh also addressed the seminar.

Those present included the Academic Director Dr Rajesh Singh, Dr SN Sahu, Dr LS Rawat, Dr Divya Girdhar, Dr Ashwini Kumar Saxena, Dr Om Prakash, Dr Ramesh, Ashwini Gupta & Dr Shilpi Sharma.

Aastha Vidya Mandir Jawanga organises Annual Sports Meet 2023-24

MLA Chaitram Atami honored the overall champion first Shabari House, second Dankini House and third Shivnath House with shield.

Geedam/Dantewada, Chhattisgarh, 26 December 2023 :

Aastha Vidya Mandir English Medium School organised a 3 days Annual Sports Meet for the year 2023-24 based on the guidelines by the Central Board of Secondary Education at Education City Jawanga, Geedam of Dantewada district. It is important for every child to have passion for sports and art along with education.

Various sports competitions were organized for students from class 1st to class 12th in boys and girls categories. 1200 children from 8 houses i.e. Arpa, Pairi, Shankhani, Dankani, Shivnath, Shabari, Mahanadi and Indravati Houses participated actively in different games like 50, 100, 200, 400, 800 meter race, relay race, three legged race, long jump, high jump, shotput throw, discuss throw, volleyball, kho kho, kabaddi.

In the inauguration ceremony, Chairman of School Management Committee Bomada Ram Kowasi and Principal Gopal Pandey unveiled the torch and green flag.

In the closing ceremony, Chief guest Dantewada MLA Chaitram Atami, guest of honour District Panchayat member Ramu Netam, Sangeeta Netam, Geedam Janpad Panchayat President Anti Wek, Janpad Panchayat member Rajesh Kashyap, Jawanga Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Aarti Kovasi, School Management Committee President Bomda Ram Kowasi, social worker Dr. Budhri Tati, District Mission Coordinator Shyamlal Shori, APCs Sikendar Khan, Rajendra Pendes, ABEO Bhavani Punem, Cluster Coordinator Nitin Vishwakarma were present.

Chief guest MLA Chaitram Atami and other guests honoured the overall champion of this sports meet, first Shabari House, second runner-up Dankini House and third runner-up Shivnath House with shields and prizes. In the closing ceremony, the little children enthralled by performing wonderful cultural dances and songs. Winners in various sports disciplines were honored with prizes, sweets and cash were distributed by the guests and officials.

Aastha Vidya Mandir's Principal Gopal Pandey, Vice Principals Pramod Gupta, Ravindranath Panigrahi, Superintendents Ravi Prakash Thakur, Sushma Das, Lecturer Amujuri Biswanath, Program Coordinators Bikash Bain, Ashimanand Baipari, Harishankar Verma, PTI Mamta Dubey and other teachers were contribute their valuable time and dedication in the three-days event.

Chief guest MLA Chaitram Atami while addressing the children and parents said that Education City Javanga has proved to be a milestone in the field of education, its praise is heard in the field of education in the country and abroad also. His excellency former President Ramnath Kovind, the world's popular and famous Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and many ministers and officials have also visited the Education City Jawanga and Aastha Vidya Mandir. He said that the then Dantewada Collector IAS Reena Kangale and OP Chaudhary are heartily congratulated for thinking about an institution like Education City Jawanga in a sensitive area like Dantewada.

Today, OP Chaudhary has also been made a minister in Government of Chhattisgarh Cabinet ministry. MLA Chaitram Atami assured that they have made it, they will improve it.
